Cooking...recipes...pictures?

How do we feel about adding some cooking to this blog?  I am considering adding some recipes, perhaps photos of my finished product, etc.

Any thoughts?  I feel like I might be committing myself to this too early.  Guess I will just have to see if I am that interested in it.

Keep checking back to see if I actually follow through =)

Milo

A friend of mine has a very handsome horse and I was able to capture this amazing picture! I love the lighting and how Mr. Milo is so mesmerized by the lights.  It almost looks like he is fake.  He is one beautiful horse!

Love this park, especially when the sun is out!  The skies were blue and the water was calm.  Check out the shots below, and let me know what you think =)

Pikes Place - 2010

Pikes Place
2010

Pikes Place is always so lively and full of color! Every time we walk through the market, I can't help to become a little bit touristy by taking several pictures. I didn't alter these very much, they were already vibrant enough. Check them out and let me know what you think!!

First attempt at Photoshop....

Learning how the colors and editing work on my own. Its a bit difficult, but slowly figuring it out. And because of some helpful criticism, I edited this update to show both the before and afters. Let me know what you think!

I think a few more scenic shots and then I want to move on to models.

Where will this road take me...

New camera. New hobby. With so many breathtaking creations, how can I not be inspired. So taking this a step further, I decided to fully embrace photography. You are officially looking at my first pieces of work. And yes, I am still learning about shutter, aperture, lighting, ISO......well you get the idea.

Our view from day one was jaw dropping to us. Coming from flat lands to mountain terrain was an amazing experience. I have yet to figure out photo shop; however the simplicity of not altering a photo makes it a little more real for me. No worries, photo shopping will most likely be used in the future.

After the sun set, I was left to figure out what my next object would be. When my husband finally got sick of me snapping pictures of him, I moved on to our rings. The outcome is below.

Like I said, it is amateur work, and I would love to become more experienced. So helpful criticism and advice are always welcome. I will take this journey one day at a time.
